Job Opening for Solution Consultant/Sales Engineer
The successful candidate will work with our account managers in
various aspects of the sales process. Some key responsibilities
include preparing proposals and demonstrating our solution to prospective
customers. Most demonstrations are typically several hours in length
and require the consultant to have a detailed understanding of
the entire product and the ability to effectively communicate the
product's features and advantages to customers. A knowledge of
enterprise applications and experience in HR, payroll, and time
and attendance is helpful.
Mandatory skills are:
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to prepare detailed and persuasive proposals to customers
- Ability to conduct presentations and "carry a room" in front
of large audiences
- Administer training sessions on the software to prospective
customers
- Knowledge of networks, databases, and technical infrastructure
to support web-based enterprise systems
- Knowledge of SQL skills (must be experienced at writing queries)
- Ability to conduct fact-finding interviews with customers to
gather their functional requirements
- Must work well as a team member and individually
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for presentations
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure
- Excellent skills to juggle multiple tasks and set priorities
- Background in HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance
Desirable skills are:
- Programming experience utilizing any 4GL language
- Knowledge of HR & Payroll policies, procedures and systems,
i.e. ADP, Ceridian, Pro Business, etc.
- Experience implementing or working with packaged HRMS or time
and attendance software systems such as PeopleSoft, Kronos, Workbrain,
Lawson, Cybershift, Oracle, Timelink, SAP, etc.
- Experience in sales and marketing
