Job Opening for Technical Implementation
Consultant
Technical Implementation Consultants will work with our Implementation
Team configuring our packaged software system and supporting customers
in production. This position is located at our headquarters in
Livonia, MI, but travel to customer sites 10-30% of the time is
possible.
Job Functions:
- Application configuration of our Time and Attendance System
- Design reports using Actuate report writing tool
- Convert legacy data for use with our database
- Testing/Quality Assurance work
- Configure/develop data conversion and interfaces with other
business applications
Mandatory Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with business applications, such as Word, Excel,
etc.
- Must work well as a team member and individually
- Strong SQL skills is a must
- Strong programming experience utilizing any 4GL language and/or
stored procedures
- Comfortable working with database servers and Unix operating
systems
Desired Skills:
- Background in HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance
- Experience implementing or working with packaged HRMS software
systems, i.e. PeopleSoft, Lawson, Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Knowledge of HR & Payroll policies, procedures and systems,
i.e. ADP, Ceridian, Pro Business, etc.
- Familiarity with at least one report writer such as Crystal
Reports, Cognos, Actuate, etc.
- Any other experience implementing packaged application software
