Software for K-12 Schools
WorkForce
Software is pleased to provide a specialized version of our timekeeping
solution for K-12 schools and school districts. WorkForce Software
for K-12 Schools shares a common foundation with our Enterprise
Time Tracking system. It builds upon that product by adding
additional capabilities and templates specific to educational facilities.

Some of the key features of WorkForce Software for K-12 Schools
include:
- Employees may hold multiple job positions with each position
having different rules. Unlike other vendors, WorkForce Software
does not employ workarounds that are based on job codes. WorkForce
Software for K-12 Schools has "native" support for the concept
of employees with multiple job positions. The entire time collection,
review, and approval process is based on this model.
- Data collection
devices support multiple job positions. When an employee punches
in at a badge reader, for example the system recognizes the
position the employee holds and collects, prompts, and records
the time appropriately.
- WorkForce Software for K-12 Schools has
a distributed security model that fits the workflows present
in educational institutions. This security model allows appropriate
individuals to manage security, new hires, and other activities
traditionally reserved for a system administrator. Tight controls
and a full audit trail are still present to ensure the appropriate
checks and balances are in place.
- Interfaces with a Student
Information System or other database allow easy transfer of
student information into the time and attendance system for
student employees.
- Touch tone telephone and web interfaces allow
absences to be reported and substitutes assigned automatically.
